About the Competition
This competition is open to all children aged 4-11 years old. To celebrate Downham’s 100th birthday we are looking for an artist to design our logo!
Here’s some questions to get your artist brain working:
- What you love most about Downham
- Your favourite place
- Your favourite memory
The deadline for submissions is 11th March 2024.
Prizes for the Competition
There will be three runner ups, one from each of the follow age categories: 4-6, 7-9 and 10-11 who will each receive a £10 book voucher and certificate.
There will be one overall winner who will receive a special certificate and a £20 book voucher as well as their logo design being the star of all our posters, leaflets and more!
How to Enter
By Email:
To enter, please send an email to [email protected] with:
- A picture of your child’s logo design (in either .png or .jpeg format).
- Your child’s first and last name
- Your child’s age
In the photo of the logo design please do not include the name of your child or a picture of your child, the logos will be judged anonymously.
In person:
Entries can also be dropped into Oakview Family Practice, 190 Shroffold Rd, Bromley BR1 5NJ. For in person entries, please make sure you include on the back of the logo artwork:
- Your child’s name
- Your child’s age
- Your contact email or phone number
School Entries
School entries with multiple entries from either a year group, class or whole school are welcome.
If submitting from a school, please make sure you include your contact details in an envelope with all entries, and on the back of the logo artwork for each child please include:
- Child’s name
- Child’s age or yeargroup
- School they attend.

Please note the deadline for submissions has been extended and is now 11:59pm on the 11th March 2024.

Terms and Conditions
All entries must be received by 23:59 GMT on the 11th March 2024. Any entries received after this time may not be included in submissions to judges. The judging panel may change at the last minute due to sickness or other factors. The decision of the judging panel is final and cannot be changed. All submissions will be judged anonymously by the panel. The book voucher prize cannot be exchanged for cash. If book vouchers are unavailable, a similar voucher in lieu will be offered to the value of the same amount as stated above. We are unable to return entries to everyone, but if you wish to have the artwork returned please contact us. We may use some of the entries in a display for the Downham Estate 100 Years Celebration.
By entering the competition, you agree to your child’s first name being used along with their artwork in all publications by Sevenfields Primary Care Networks and other partner organisations including but not limited to website, social media, printed publications, local press, video and audio recordings.
All entries must include the child’s full name, a contact email address and the child’s artwork to be entered into the competition.
